Our Team

Mark was born in Barrie, Ontario, but moved to Listowel with his family in 1964.

He graduated from Listowel District Secondary School in 1971, Huron College at the University of Western Ontario with a BA in 1975, and from the University of Windsor Law School in 1980 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB.). After articling, Mark returned to Listowel in 1982 to practice law and continued to practice in Listowel until he retired in 2021. Mark's practice was primarily a solicitor's practice consisting of commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning and administration, and negotiating matrimonial and civil files.

We are very grateful and proud of his dedication providing legal counsel, friendship and advice to his clients, our community and our firm over the years. Our firm continues to thrive building on the solid foundation that Mark created during his time in practice.

Mark is survived by his wife Pam, sons Alex and Reid and daughter-in-law Larissa. He continues to be the benchmark against which we measure ourselves.

David C. Dickey practices in the areas of Corporate/Commercial, Real Estate, Succession Planning, and Estate Administration.

David has a breadth of experience in commercial and residential real estate matters acting for purchasers, vendors, lessors, and lenders. He also deals with a range of farm-specific matters including tenders, mortgages, and family transfers, including those matters dealing with livestock or quota.

Dave enjoys sitting down with clients to create appropriate succession plans, drawing/drafting wills and powers of attorney to suit specific individual and corporate needs. He also does extensive work on corporate reorganizations, share and asset purchases and sales for small and medium-sized business, and incorporating and organizing privately held companies.

David was called to the Bar in 2009. He resides in Listowel but was born and raised in Vermilion Bay, Ontario. He attended the University of Western Ontario and earned a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies in 2005 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2008. Dave completed his articles with the Calgary office of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP before returning to practice in Listowel.

Dave is a proud father of two girls, Evelyn and Norah. When he is not playing with his kids, Dave is an avid sports fan who participates in many recreational sports leagues in the area.

Ross is a local Listowel resident but is originally from Newmarket.

Ross graduated from the Sports Administration program at Laurentian University in Sudbury with an HBComm in 2015. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 and was called to the Bar in 2020.

Ross is an avid sports fan and recreational athlete. He enjoys playing hockey, squash, slow pitch and other recreational sports. He also enjoys movies and television, board games, and trivia.

Erin was raised in London, Ontario, and earned a BA from Huron University with a double major in History and English. Erin graduated in 2020 and started law school at Western University. Erin graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2023, and articled at Brown Beattie O’Donovan in London, Ontario. Erin was called to the bar in 2024 before joining TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates. Erin is very excited to join the Listowel community.

In her free time, Erin enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Heather was born and raised in the Listowel area. After graduating from Fanshawe College, Heather joined the original firm of Benson, Giller Tarbush & Carter in 1985. Heather has extensive experience handling all aspects of real estate transactions.

Heather resides on a farm in North Perth with her husband and they enjoy spending time with their daughters and their families.

Anita resides in Perth East with her husband on their dairy farm. She has been with the firm since 2012 as a Real Estate Clerk bringing with her 9 years of previous experience in this field. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking and baking.

Joan is a graduate of Fanshawe College and has recently joined the Law Firm of TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates, bringing with her years of real estate/office knowledge and experience. Joan lives in Listowel with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ally grew up in Wingham, but now lives in Auburn with her boyfriend and dog. She graduated from University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Legal Studies and joined TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates as a Real Estate Clerk in 2024.

Outside of work, Ally enjoys spending time outdoors, being with friends and family, and watching sports.

Lynne has been the Estates Clerk at Tarbush Dickey Giller & Associates Professional Corporation since 1991.

Lynne is a Wroxeter native, where she still resides with her family. In her spare time, she takes every opportunity to travel.

Originally from Killaloe, Laura now lives in Palmerston. She graduated from Conestoga College with her Legal Administration Diploma and joined TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates as an Estates Clerk in 2022.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Tricia joined TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates Professional Corporation in 2010 as the Corporate Clerk. She has worked in the field since 1995 and brought with her those years of experience and knowledge of incorporating and maintaining companies, corporate reorganizations, family succession plans involving corporations and purchases and sales of businesses.

Tricia enjoys spending time with family and friends and her fur babies.

Tess grew up in the Listowel area. She graduated from Westervelt College with her Legal Administration diploma. She has 11 years of legal administration experience before joining us in 2015.

Tess now lives on a dairy farm near Brussels with her husband and three kids.

Shelley was born and raised outside of the Clifford area. She graduated from Conestoga College with her Law Clerk Certification. She has 10 years of previous experience working in the legal field before joining TarBush Dickey Giller & Associates in 2020.

Shelley now lives in Clifford with her husband, kids, and cat, Pierre.

Karen joined TarBush Dickey Giller in 2021 after moving to Listowel from the K­W area and brings with her many years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.

She and her husband are proud parents of two young men and in her spare time enjoys being around nature, spending time with family and friends and exploring new destinations.

Originally from Fergus, Taylor now resides in Gorrie. She graduated from Conestoga College with an Office Administration Certificate. She comes with multiple years of administrative and customer service experience.

In her spare time, Taylor likes to spend time with her family and take care of her small hobby farm. She also enjoys crafting, baking, and crocheting.
